At Smipa, we are proud to collaborate with AGAPE and AGENDO, two organizations based in Vicenza that operate with passion and commitment to support and integrate people with disabilities.
We have been collaborating with AGAPE for 30 years, sharing values and dedication to building a more supportive community. AGAPE is a social cooperative that offers assistance and educational services to people with disabilities, promoting autonomy and participation through activities such as theater and creative workshops.
We actively cooperate with AGENDO, contributing to the support of their initiatives and projects to provide new opportunities. AGENDO is a volunteer association that since 1985 has supported people with Down syndrome and their families, offering paths of growth, training, and job placement.
In an economic context that often prioritizes profit, we at Smipa have chosen to also invest in people. For this reason, we actively collaborate with AGAPE and AGENDO, integrating them into our production processes whenever possible. We entrust the individuals supported by these two organizations with tasks such as item packaging and small finishing and assembly jobs—activities that allow them to develop practical skills and stay active through a rewarding commitment.
This collaboration contributes to a fairer society, where even small tasks become a means of dignity and empowerment. Thanks to the assignments provided by SMIPA, in collaboration with Agendo and Agape, we offer opportunities for people with disabilities to remain active and engaged.
We believe that a company should not only be an economic engine, but also a point of reference for the community. That’s why we will continue to work to make the integration of people with disabilities an ever more concrete reality.
